During the summer it does not get hot enough for the snow to melt, summer temperatures are around 45°F. During winter it is dark 24 hours a day. A lot of hard winds are experienced. It is almost impossoble for us to grow commercial crops because of are harsh climate. We are planning to domesticate yaks and try to start a fishing farm. We are going to sustain are people by being meat eaters and eating the berries and moss.
